The stock clutching is calibrated for lower elevations. The RPM and performance falls of significantly at higher elevations where there is less horsepower available. Improves performance, and back shifting as well as belt durability.
Note: This kit is specific to vehicles operating primarily at higher elevations. To convert this kit to another version (eg, low elevation) the springs, and helix would need to be different as well as the instruction manual for set up. Contact Dalton for details.
